Amundson headed to Hornets

Free agent forward Lou Amundson had three teams coming after him this offseason: the Golden State Warriors , New Orleans Hornets , and Indiana Pacers . According to New York Newsday, the 6-9, 238-pound forward will end up with the Hornets, his fourth team in five seasons

Bucks expect Bogut back for season’s start

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut’s season ended a little early last year when he broke bones in his right hand, fractured his right hand, and dislocated his right elbow after dunking against the Phoenix Suns on April 3. He’s still not ready to be in an NBA lineup, but the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting that the Bucks are hoping and expecting that the seven-foot Australian will be ready to go when the season kicks off. "Our hope and anticipation is that Andrew will be ready to go when the season begins," Bucks general manager John Hammond told the paper.

Amundson signing this week

Three teams are left in the running for free agent forward Lou Amundson and the final choice will be made this week , according to USA Today. The Golden State Warriors , New Orleans Hornets , and Indiana Pacers , which needs a big man after trading away Troy Murphy , are all trying to get Amundson to come aboard, the paper reports.

Two new Suns GM candidates

Former New Orleans Hornets general manager Jeff Bower and Washington Wizards exec Tommy Sheppard are the two newest names to come out as being possibilities to take over as GM for the Phoenix Suns under new head of basketball operations Lon Babby, according to ESPN. Cleveland Cavaliers assistant general manager Lance Blanks interviewed for the job on Friday, the site reports. The Suns’ first choice was Dell Demps, but he took the job opening in New Orleans
