Phoenix Suns forward Grant Hill says a fan at the United Center spit and cursed at him after Tuesday night’s loss to the Bulls, Hill told the Arizona Republic.

Hill was held back from going after the fan, who tried to run but was ultimately caught by security.

“He said some profanity and spit in my direction,” Hill told the paper. “I’m not going to let somebody spit at me. He knew he did wrong because he took off running.”

Suns forward Vince Carter said he knew it was serious when the normally calm Hill, known as one of the class acts of the NBA, went after the fan.

“I just saw the anger in his face,” Carter said. “When you see Grant like that, you know something’s up. Grant doesn’t say anything to anybody. He competes and does his job.”

What are your opinions.

Suns starting center Robin Lopez is going to be out for a few weeks because of a left knee sprain so the team is planning to sign the 29-year-old seven-footer, the paper reports

Suns’ Turkoglu heading to the bench?

Hedo Turkoglu wasn’t happy in his time with the Toronto Raptors last year and he might not be loving life with the Phoenix Suns right now, either. After all, he was brought in to bring some offensive punch and he’s only averaging 10.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game this season

That’s all the news for today.

David Lee replacing Stoudemire in Phoenix?

The addition of free agent power forward Amar’e Stoudemire (notes) to the New York Knicks roster pretty much meant there wasn’t much of a chance that David Lee (notes) would be returning to the team. And now the Arizona Republic reports that Lee could end up being Stoudemire’s replacement with the Phoenix Suns . "We’ve talked to them for a quite awhile," Lee’s agent told the paper.

That’s all for today guys, i’ll be back to blog you tomorrow.
