Kobe Bryant will be postponed the wedding. He didn’t days, this year summer every day he cast into the 2,000 15 feet away jumpers. His ambition in growth. The summer 2000 shark is one of the most fear monster ages, but experience 2000 finals kobe Bryant, the game 4 is understand what you want.

Kobe and shaq was the lakers’ most fear killer

2000 finals another bad example: sharks in the second game 39 times free throws. This is the NBA with common idea, large number of fouls to suspend “hack-a-shaq”. In view of the human can inhibit the Achilles heel of the total, will he let him to the free-throw line is better than the tyranny of the box.

When sharks large free throws, the lakers needs a perimeter terminator, Bryant was in 2000 championship two take charge of, but he doesn’t dare so.

2000-01 season. In November, Bryant averaging 21.5 times shots per game, dec, he shot at 25 times. December 6, in the golden state, his 18 at 35 shots down 51 points. December 12, the lakers lost than 109 105 bucks. Secco competition opponent defender before and ray Allen fights a mouth, though up to 31 anger shots, the eight hit scored 25 points. Shark post-match not happy: “like the ans such team, should try to make each group has, at least in the next attack will do that.” Because of such that night, he shot only 21 times overlords.

Before the season two months before the lakers usual, 26 September 17 games for war, west fourth. Bryant is averaging 29.3 points alliance, shooting 46%, can first shots up to 23.2 times averaging. Sharks, not a good body left heel fasuan, averaging is pulled points while shooting was 55.6%, but is averaging moves 19.5 times.

1999 disputes, ambiguously appeared again. The shark’s position very clear: “you have to understand, handed the ball to the next is the next 60 percent of shooting. Can attract lane-packing, then spread to center, let center relaxed shot!!!”

Bryant feel, all in aiming his: “why carter and Allen iverson scored by people praise next attack, but to be overly next is a senior high school student? Just because the next must do? Double for others live.” attained identity

Jackson and end bemused, he didn’t go to pack their debate, mediated ace kept the lakers’ defense is. Then, he occasionally blame kobe Bryant, but not too much, but he shot preserved kept Bryant did not a very good guide rider learning triangle offense. Bryant did not TuiRang: “the nanny next isn’t him again next to others! Hypothesis to create opportunities, next to, assume reprove a good player next didn’t keep next responsibility, too heavy!”

Jackson know, he hard to tame Bryant: “he’s a 22-year-old kid. He would sometimes put ‘next’ mentioned above, so” the ans’ next had to gradually told him that what is important.”

The league, they ZuoGuanChengBai for sharks in the dilemma and secretly pleased. Larry brown said: “kobe is undoubtedly alliance the top five players, but a shark? He’s history is one of the most dominant players.” The lakers manager kupchak but thought, might as well let Bryant all his talent financers look. “In the 1980s, the lakers’ leading scorer changed several. In the early 1980s, 1987 is sky hook is a magician, 1988 – so what is Scott? Important is their title.”

Results the two are sharks as the lakers had can go-round? “Let’s wait and see.” Sharks, “speak next only know one thing: you want to make a big dog to keep the yard, you have to give that big dog bit big bone to eat, you have to feed it. You can’t let it dry sitting, fart matter stem.”

OK combination

This season, the shark hit 74 contest, 57.2% shooting alliance first, averaging 3.7 assists and 1.27 rebounds, blocked 2.8. The league team center, MVP ballots to third. Kobe killed into the league squad. Results of the previous year, their 67-win sent many, but on April 1, 2001, the 100 per cent record after, but enough to make a shock, that is – alliance the prelude of western discolouration, sweeping.

The playoffs, the lakers meet seven matches last war socialencounters Portland. The lakers April wreaths all the speed, slightly banker without hesitation, BingBuXieRen over the blazers, 3-0. Semi-final against regular-season 55 wins king, that is Chris webber career DianFengQi, results are 4-0 sweep, the lakers continue the second round. The year before, the lakers bite off five games with the king, beating Portland seven games with. In 2001, all is sweeping.

Arrived in the western conference finals, the lakers have 15 streak – 2001 eight straight playoff season, the seventh straight. Rivals spurs, 1999 across their opponents, alliance defense the best team. Tim Duncan and David Robinson in the twin towers of wait for them. Unexpected end exceeded all people, the lakers and spurs by 4-0 sweep.

Shark mouth rang rang: “kobe is next idol! He is the best player in the league, a JieEr better than others where!”

So far, the lakers already co tance non champion, but history. Since 1983, 1989 changes format pistons and 1991 oxen, 1999, the three teams in the spurs championship run-in had 15 wins and two defeats. Even if all the bulls, all in 1996 when arrived in the finals also had a failings, and looking back the lakers’ journey: 2001 April 1, then they know again after what is losing taste. Eight straight 3-0 volumes, then fly regular-season 50 games the Portland trail blazers striker group, 4-0 hit the scattered regular-season 55 wins, Sacramento, the western conference finals the spurs more will west first swept 4-0. David Robinson assert that “the east team didn’t can be their rivals.”

Finals opponent, is the sixers.

In 2001, the lakers swept all the way, carry the potential 19 in a row, and they divided the finals opponent Philadelphia camp, a group of disabled full steel hardboiled defense added Allen iverson alone than 3, 4 bull raptors, narrowly than 3 press four bucks, difficult to kill into the finals.

But the legend still appeared

In the past the Phoenix Suns have been adamant that the value of Amare Stoudemire to the franchise is integral, and would only be in jeopardy if his eyes or his knees began acting up again. For the record, those issues don’t seem to be giving him any troubles. Amare has played in all 43 games for the Suns this season, averaging 34.7 minutes and putting up 21.0 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

However, with contract extensions and the penny pinching Suns most likely headed towards disaster, Phoenix is suddenly entertaining the idea of trading Stoudemire.

It’s a good time to talk about it with the Bulls coming into town tonight. The Bulls are thought to be a team that would target Amare, but who knows if they would part with defensive rebounding guru Joakim Noah along with other pieces to get him. Because it will at least take that.

The Amare era in Phoenix should be over with, it’s been a failed attempt for the most part, and while the team looks to save some money, there is no better time to trade him than right now. Why wait for another Knee injury and watch his value decrease and then put him on the block?

Last game: Jan 20, Phoenix Suns 118 – New Jersey Nets 94
Next game: vs. Chicago Bulls, Jan 22 10:30pm ET

Im not sure how the Suns have started off this hot, when I look at their roster, i dont see a lot of talent but playing alongside Steve Nash in this uptempo style seems to get the best of their talent. The Suns depth and age is questionable, can their core guys continue playing at this tempo as the season goes along? The Suns could use more bench scoring and a bruiser in the frontline if they wanna make a deep playoff run. The Suns just dont have much to offer unless they trade one of their core guys.

The Suns will remain one of the best offensive teams in the league but defense is almost non existent. The Suns depth is highly questionable, how much will they play first round pick Earl Clark immediately. Goran Dragic hasnt proven to be a suitable backup for Nash, Jared Dudley must prove he can handle an increased role. Channing Frye has been impressive in preseason, knocking down shots like he did in his rookie season for the knicks. While his game is on the decline, Steve Nash remains one of the top point guards in the league, they need to find a way to cut down on his minutes this season. Amare Stoudemire should have a big year, proving he has rebounded from the partially detached retina of last season.

Key Additions: Earl Clark, Taylor Griffin, Channing Frye

Key Subtractions: Shaquille O’Neal, Matt Barnes

It’s been a busy off-season for Steve Kerr and the Phoenix Suns. After striking a deal to trade Shaquille O’Neal to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Sasha Pavolvic and Ben Wallace, it appeared evident that the Suns wanted to shake things up. By moving O’Neal, it was made official that Kerr and the Suns made a mistake by acquiring him and just wanted to get rid of him. Ben Wallace has already stated that he was thinking about retiring and the Suns took him on anyway and just recently completed a buyout of his contract. Many expect the Suns to waive Sasha Pavolvic since only a small portion of his contract is guaranteed. While that trade stole most of the headlines thus far this off-season, it wasn’t all the Suns have did.

They agreed to terms with Grant Hill to bring him back and also with Channing Frye. Frye is a solid addition to the team and could make contributions if given a chance. The Suns also are expected to begin extension talks with Steve Nash sometime this week. While Amare Stoudemire’s name hasn’t been popping up in rumors as far as trades go, he’s been mentioned as far as him having routine surgeries on his eye. Perhaps the Suns are expecting big things from Amare in the 2009-10 season, because his name was taken off of the trading block after being on it every since the deadline during the 2008-09 season.

The thought of it sounds strange, but could Nash be shipped out of Phoenix in the off-season? After failing to make the playoffs for the first time in a long time, the Suns have said that they will entertain trade offers. Not only could Nash find himself on the trading block, Amare Stoudemire and Shaquille O’Neal will be shopped around. It’s not too big of a stretch to believe that if even one of the before-mentioned players are traded, depending on what is offered, the Suns could potentially enter a rebuilding stage. Those three players are without a doubt the Suns best players and when teams begin shipping out their cornerstone guys, one has to think that they want to rebuild.

The Suns will enter the draft with the 14th overall pick and if Nash really is potentially on his way out, we could see the Suns select a point guard with their pick. Johnny Flynn or even Ty Lawson could be a solid pick at that point for the Suns. Both are point guards that love to get up and down the floor and more importantly, both are defensive minded and team-first oriented. Just the kind of point guard they are looking for. Even if Nash is to stay, one of those would make a nice addition.

Robin Lopez may not be a “home run pick” attempt like Golden State is going for with Anthony Randolph, but this is a solid pick. That’s what the Suns need – solidity and a new identity. They are taking a step in the right direction by adding Lopez, who puts his focus on hustle, defense, rebounding, and altering shots. He is exactly what Shaq and Stoudemire need backing them up off the bench, and they’ve now got their consummate 7-foot role player.

Grade: B

Jerry Brown of The East Valley Tribune reports:

After a long and extensive search, the Phoenix Suns have finally settled on Detroit Pistons assistant Terry Porter as the 13th head coach in team history.

Porter, who spent 17 years in the NBA as a player and two as the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, accepted the job from his friend and former teammate, Suns general manager Steve Kerr on Saturday morning. Terms of a three-year contract for approximately $7 million have been agreed upon and Porter is expected to be formerly introduced as the replacement for Mike D’Antoni at a press conference on Tuesday.

“Terry and I have had a great personal relationship for a long time but he’s going to be our coach because he’s the best candidate,” Kerr said Saturday. “His experience as a head coach in the league is one part, his reputation as a player and a person is one part, and his great combination of confidence and humility is another.

“I couldn’t be happier with where we are today.”

There was no immediate word on who might join Porter on his staff, but it is a safe bet that it will be a combination of Kerr and Porter-inspired hires.

Porter, 45, spent two seasons (2003-05) as the head coach in Milwaukee, where the Bucks were one of the top offensive teams in the Eastern Conference during a surprise 41-41 first season, leading the team to the playoffs.

But he also adds the experience of two seasons as an assistant under Flip Saunders with one of the league’s best defensive teams in Detroit.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Terry Porter is expected to be interviewed for a second time by the Phoenix Suns later this week.

Porter joined Detroit Pistons coaches and players at their practice facility on Saturday, the day after the Boston Celtics eliminated them in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.

The Suns have been searching for a head coach since Mike D’Antoni resigned to lead the New York Knicks. Candidates include Porter, Houston Rockets assistant Elston Turner and former NBA player and TV analyst Mark Jackson.

Porter was Flip Saunders’ lead assistant in Detroit the past two seasons. He led the Milwaukee Bucks’ from 2003-05, helping them win 41 games and earn a spot in the 2004 playoffs. His coaching career started as a Sacramento Kings assistant in 2002.

Suns general manager Steve Kerr was one of Porter’s teammates during his 17-year career with Portland, Minnesota, Miami and San Antonio.

Porter holds a 71-93 (.433) overall record as a head coach with the Milwaukee Bucks from 2003-2005, and was a first-round exit in his lonesome postseason appearance.
