Im not sure how the Suns have started off this hot, when I look at their roster, i dont see a lot of talent but playing alongside Steve Nash in this uptempo style seems to get the best of their talent. The Suns depth and age is questionable, can their core guys continue playing at this tempo as the season goes along? The Suns could use more bench scoring and a bruiser in the frontline if they wanna make a deep playoff run. The Suns just dont have much to offer unless they trade one of their core guys.

The Suns probally cant sustain this high level of play because they have no depth but the fun and gun suns are back…… for now. Channing Frye has added a dimension with his hot shooting to start the season, Barbosa is back to his 6th man role after starting the first 2 games for suspended Jason Richardson and will be in the running for 6th man of the year. Grant Hill is playing like he found a time machine or the fountain of youth 20ppg 9.7rpg.

The Suns will remain one of the best offensive teams in the league but defense is almost non existent. The Suns depth is highly questionable, how much will they play first round pick Earl Clark immediately. Goran Dragic hasnt proven to be a suitable backup for Nash, Jared Dudley must prove he can handle an increased role. Channing Frye has been impressive in preseason, knocking down shots like he did in his rookie season for the knicks. While his game is on the decline, Steve Nash remains one of the top point guards in the league, they need to find a way to cut down on his minutes this season. Amare Stoudemire should have a big year, proving he has rebounded from the partially detached retina of last season.
